Ministry Teams
These opportunities were placed into a suggestion box located in the church. They were organized into “themes.” These themes (and all received comments) are listed below. There are three themes that need work teams to take the opportunities and begin to plan for implementation of them (one area- Business Matters- are things that will be implemented by church leadership).
Once you have reviewed each of the three areas (Worship Service , Youth, and Outreach), if you feel led to be a part of one of these teams, please fill out the form and identify which team you would like to serve on.

Business Matters- will be implemented by church leadership
● Schedule regular, monthly business meetings- these are to be held on the second Sunday of every month. Brad is adding a calendar to the church website and will place these meetings on it. In the event one must be rescheduled the calendar will be edited to reflect the change. ● Set up church budget- the budget committee was formed in the January business meeting and will set a meeting to compile the budget within the next week. Committee members include: Bro. Tracy Stafford, Brad Nelms, Carolyn Hamlin, Tina Michael, and Jeff Allen.● Locate church property lines- will need a trustee to take on the task of handling this ● Establish a fund for multi-purpose building
Worship Service
●Communion- once decided how often we will have communion, Brad will add to the church calendar on the website ● Fellowship time during worship- have a moment during service to hug or shake your neighbor’s hand to help everyone get to know each other● Have projectors for music so church can sing along if they don’t know the songs ● Please don’t sacrifice the realness, authenticity of this church. That’s what makes it special. ● Can we sing one song Sunday morning from the Hymnal so that we can all sing together? ● Live stream Sunday service ● Have greeters at back door ● Have a bulletin- Christy Stacy working on this Worship Service
Youth/Children
● Consider getting a youth, praise leader ● Set up a monthly class for youth to teach relationships, morals, values, respect of self and others in today’s world Youth/Children
Outreach
● Community meals ● Multi-purpose building fundraising ● Potluck fellowship meals ● Friend Sunday- youth bring a friend Outreach
